Introducing Build Your Own Report Cards by Tydo

We’re hyped to officially roll out a new Tydo feature: Build Your Own Report Cards!

You can now add multiple cards in tandem to your existing Report Card, Tydo’s free reporting product. We’ve added a refreshed Discover page that allows users to choose from a variety of performance analytics metrics and design custom experiences for their marketing teams.

Before we dive in, here’s a quick refresher on why we first launched Report Cards into the world.

Tydo Primer: Report Cards 101 

Report Cards enables a quick snapshot of your business, delivered to your inbox free of charge. 

The default Report Cards analytics stack includes the most important growth metrics your team should be tracking to gauge DTC growth. Tydo delivers customized cards to your inbox at your chosen cadence (daily, weekly, monthly), so you don't need yet another tool to log in.

Some operators want to be in the weeds, while others just need a pulse check from time to time. Tydo was founded around the simple idea that every founder should have access to the basics of data, without the need for expensive engineers. That’s why we made it free for everyone.

BYO Report Cards: How it Works

Tydo consolidates metrics on your Report Cards across all data sources, so you’re getting a clear and concise performance snapshot. We first launched the product with a Summary card highlighting key metrics: Revenue, Orders, AOV, Ad Spend, Blended CAC, and Blended ROAS. 

With Build Your Own Report Cards, you can unlock even greater clarity around data analytics.

For example, DTC brands can choose the different functions of their business that they want to actively keep tabs on. In BYO Report Cards, we’ve included the most important metrics for a variety of core functions: Acquisition, Retention, Finance, Operations, and Ad Channels.

We’ve also developed custom cards with help of incredible partners in the eCom ecosystem like Structured, Loop Returns, Sharma Brands, Smile.io and more! Critically, our partners helped us gut check each metric and gave their stamp of approval.

Here’s how it works:

Don't be afraid of data and insights. If customers aren't clicking on your emails, try a new CTA. If your ads are driving good metrics at a small spend, start scaling. Start paying heavy attention to data, specifically around retention. We see a lot of effort put towards acquisition with the assumption that once someone buys, they are your customer forever. Instead, get to know your customer, understand their needs, and analyze their behaviors once they are on-site and judge their sentiment after they have visited. Work with a retention focused and data-driven agency to implement tools that contribute to repeat business and customer delight. It will pay dividends.

Tip

When surveyed, about 80% of ecommerce merchants think that they are delivering a great experience to their customers. However, when the same customers are surveyed, only 8% of those customers think that they are getting a great experience from the merchant. Now, more than ever, retaining loyal customers is an essential part of any online business and you should spend time with your customers to judge their experience with your website and products and offer improvements based on that feedback.
