Tydo Launches First Tydo Tables Report

Tydo announced the launch of its first Tydo Tables report that reveals what’s top of mind for CPG founders and operators. Tydo created its Tydo Tables report—The Wild West of CPG—to provide an inside look into the biggest questions, challenges, and opportunities for innovative, Austin-based, food & beverage founders and operators.

To uncover these insights and learnings, Tydo hosted an IRL two-hour roundtable conversation in Austin, Texas, earlier this year. Additionally, Tydo sourced key data points and insights from industry experts to demonstrate how CPG is evolving and how brands can stay ahead of the curve.

“Brands can listen to as many webinars, join as many Slack communities, and engage with as many tweets as they’d like, but nothing beats IRL collaboration, creativity, and conversation,” said Rachel Cantor, Brand and Content Marketing Lead at Tydo. “That’s why we created Tydo Tables. It’s this unique opportunity to gather founders and operators who are struggling with, thinking about, and innovating on the same things. It’s a magical space and community.”

Fourteen brands took a seat at the table, including Siete, Toodaloo Superfoods, Ranch Rider Spirits, Kinship Milk Tea, and more.

“As a newer CPG brand in the space, I found it invaluable and empowering to have a seat at the table with other big key players and industry leaders,” said Caitlin Cash, Founder of Kinship Milk Tea. “I was on a total high after attending the dinner. Now I have a new group of entrepreneurs and founders alongside me on my journey now! We’ve already planned a get together at my house for some of the female founders at the table.”

Tydo’s full report on The Wild West of CPG covers the following themes:
  1. A Dynamic Duo: Product and Community
  2. A Catch-22: Sustainability and CPG
  3. The Digital Shelf: Standing Out in the Crowded eRetail Landscape
  4. Shelf Talk: Driving Sales in Physical Retail
  5. Cracking the CPG Code: Emerging Platforms & Opportunities

In addition to the full report, Tydo created an entire website and email experience around Tydo Tables. For the full Tydo Tables experience, head here.

More about the project

Here at Tydo, we try to highlight DTC founders who run their business in various ways. And, that's because there's no "right" way to run a DTC brand.

This project illustrates exactly that. Whether it's how a founder supports their team or how they talk about mental health in the workplace, every founder has a different approach. How do they discover these different approaches? One way: reading. Discover the greatest books that have changed the way 15+ founders think about or operate their business.

You can also listen to these book picks on Spotify or Anchor.fm.
